Presented to Yang Ming Corporation of Taiwan during the grand opening of their Olympic Container Terminal at Port of Tacoma.  This piece was the final selection from twelve choices presented by different galleries.

Recognition plaques for donors created in Raku, hand-carved and glazed. And seven commissioned large Raku vessels for the grand entrance to the cancer center. 2004

Commissioned works for the Tommy Bahama store in Scottsdale, AZ. I also painted 15 other images directly on the walls in the store.

This piece was purchased from the above gallery as a gift for the Japanese Consulate General of Portland, OR

Harrison Memorial Hospital
“ Mount Rainier Vessel,” “Eight Soaring Hawks,” “Leaping Frog Vessel,” “Iris Wall-Hanging,” “Autumn's Song Vessel,” “Maple Leaf Vessel,” “Great Blue Heron Plate,” “Male and Female Sockeye Salmon Wall-Hangings,” and assorted small pieces, 2000.
This large collection of Raku pottery and sculpture was purchased by Harrison Memorial Hospital in Silverdale, WA . The pieces are throughout the hospital on public display.

Port of Tacoma, Tacoma, WA
“ Ship to Rail” mural, 1999, 3' high x 5' wide
Presented to the Hyundai Corporation in celebration of the Washington United Terminal project. This is a collaboration between the Port of Tacoma and Hyundai of Korea to transport cargo from ship to rail in the U.S. The mural depicted a Hyundai container ship, a double-stack train, a WUT crane and Mount Rainier . The piece was presented to the Korean Consulate at a ceremony at the Port of Tacoma . I was invited to unveil the artwork while the US Navy band played and many Washington state VIP's and politicians attended.

108 Raku pieces given to VIP members at the annual WACUBO meeting held in Tacoma, WA, 1999.

The Seattle Arboretum Foundation and University of Washington, Seattle, WA
“ Terracotta Pyramids” 1998
Fourteen large pyramids were hand-built in collaboration with a welder to create dramatic hanging planters. The pieces were hung around the Seattle Arboretum Graham Visitor's Center and planted by the Elizabeth Miller Botanical Garden. Later photographed by “Horticulture Magazine.”

Safeco, Seattle, WA
Four “White-Crackle with Smoked Maple Leaf Vessels” 1998
These four vessels were hand-thrown and carved as competition prizes for the Safeco Golf Classic.

Ostream Software Technologies, Renton, WA
“ Mount Rainier Vessel” 1998
An elaborate carving of Mt. Rainier and its surroundings was carved on a 27” tall vessel and placed in the conference room at the headquarters for Ostream in Renton, WA .

Concrete Technologies, Tacoma, WA
“ Twelve Raku Vessels” 1997
This corporation purchased twelve varying pieces as corporate gifts that were sent to Japan, Korea and China.

The University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA
“ Corinthian Dove Flight” and “Assorted Pieces” 1997
The Human Resources Department at UPS purchased a large sculpture of a Corinthian Column with a dove on top and three other varying pieces for display in their office.

The University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA
“ Raku Scallop Bowl” and “Stoneware Vase” 1997
Susan Pierce, former President of UPS purchased the bowl for permanent display in the presidential office and the vase was purchased as a gift to Mrs. Miki, the wife of the former Prime Minister of Japan. Mrs. Miki is also a Japanese National Treasure as a potter.

“ Mount Rainier Vessel,” “Vessel with Madrona Branch Handle” and “Sockeye Salmon Vessel” 1997
The Port of Tacoma commissioned these three vessels all depicting northwest themes as corporate gifts for their sister port, the Port of Vladivostok . The pieces were flown to Russia by American delegates for the Russian port's 100th anniversary.
